For the past few weeks my colleagues and I have been training 32 teachers in product development strategies from industry and education. During the lectures I focus on what we call "Education Hour" which is when I show them how to do product development practices in the classroom (e.g. ideation, concept design, manufacturing etc.).
One education topic that is often of interest to our training cohorts is 3D printing resources. A resource I want to share with you is Thingiverse. I know teachers who are using this site and they tell me the kids love this resources because they can find all kinds of cool 3D printing projects, download models, and share their creations with other members in the community. Membership is free.
