Discovery Education: STEM resources

Yesterday I attended a presentation about Discovery Education. The takeaway is Discovery is producing a ton of content for teachers, students, parents, and the greater community. They have impressive adoption numbers in return. Millions of students and thousands of teachers are active with their resources.

One resource I particularly like was the Science of Everyday Life that is offered in partnership with the company 3M. Here you can find lessons, interactive labs, and biographies centered on how science is part of everyday activities such as the science of eggs, your body, or the weather. Its a free resources and many of the lessons are aligned with Bybee's 5E model of learning. This resource is one of many from Discovery Education, happy hunting!
