Last night I was at a LearnLaunch workshop focused on how to position a start-up in the ed tech marketplace. One of the highlights of the night was connecting with other educators and hearing about how they are developing and positioning their products.
One guy I met developed a cool product I want to share with you. It is called StoryboardThat. It is a platform for creating digital presentations using a storyboard format (e.g. comic books). The benefits to teachers are access to 45,000 images, drag and drop tools to make your storyboard, and a library of user generated storyboards to explore. This is a great platform for conveying a new concept, fostering critical thinking through visual analysis, and promoting collaborative work through group projects.
