Free Stock Photos: curriculum & teaching

Early on in my teacher days I started adding banner images at the top of my student worksheets to hook their eyes and in some cases set the stage for the lesson. Today, I am always looking for images to aid my authoring, presenting, and reporting goals.

Google is a go to for me. But when I am looking for professional images that are released for public use, here are the best I have found: one I like a lot is morguefile.com because there is no account requirements. Resources that require a free account are: stock.xchng , freerangestock.com , stockvault.net , and last but not least is everystockphoto.com which aggregates a bunch of free stock websites.
