NOVA: Science of Flight

Flight. Many would choose this as their one superpower. It has marveled humanity for ages. And now we send rockets in flight to the moon and beyond. Boom.

I've been dabbling a bit into the science of flight and came upon this solid resource from NOVA. It's an interactive website where you can explore the flight basics of lift and drag. Great resource for classrooms who want to look at applied physics, make a glider or simple plane, or explore the relationship between structure and function. Lots of standards goodies in these examples.
