Scale of the Universe: nerdalicious

On Thursdays the Institute for Contemporary Art in Boston has free admission plus a killer picnic scene out back with live music and views of the Boston Harbor. This was my first visit to the museum and of course within fifteen minutes I was at the computer based installation where you can explore the science of space.

This is where I found an awesome interactive tool called The Scale of the Universe. What I loved about it is the design simplicity, witty captions, and the overall experience which enables you to slip into our vast universe and learn about cool things like Eagle's Nebula or the biggest hail stone in history--nerdalicious.
